Sam's Tatanka Grass Mix was developed specifically
For a Black Hills Landscape Architect to be used on
"Tatanka" the story of the Bison project near
Deadwood in the Northern Black Hills of Dakota.
The objective was a mix of grasses that would establish very
Quickly and then mature to a tall waving native prairie mix with
Wildflowers like the early Dakotah Bison Prairie.
The Service Mark/Trade Mark denotes a blend of warm and cool
Season grasses for Forage Habitat or Architectural Applications.
Sam's Tatanka Grass Mix was first used in the fall of 2001. Sam's Tatanka Grass Mix was used again in the State of South Dakota, in the fall of 2002.
